Just wanted to send
you a quick email to thank you for a BRILLIANT trip to Le Mans.
The whole weekend was
amazing - obviously disappointed by Mr Toseland's incident and the
lack of points for the weekend. Also a little dismayed at the
decision by the french fishermen to block Dieppe port on our home
journey (which made the whole day a lot longer - had to travel to
Le Havre to get a ferry to Portsmouth and the drive home!!) but
still had the most amazing weekend as I got to meet James Toseland!!!
So definitely worth every penny of the trip!!! And now have a
picture that takes pride of place!!!
One question (for
future trips) - do you have your own allocated camping area - when
we arrived is was a bit of a "free-for-all" and just wanted to
know if there was anything that was more "organised" (please don't
think this is a complaint - just planning ahead for next year!!!)
Speed Chills comment
- for 2008 we offered the organisers standard camping. We share
the observation that it is less organised than we would ideally
like. We are considering offering a camping arrangement along the
same lines as Camp Creation for future years.
Great trip, great racing, great organisation and great value...nuff
