Le Mans is unique and
highly addictive. It draws us back year after year and we
strangely have pretty much the same weekend every year, give or
take the weather and who in the convoy gets stopped by the
Gendarmes.
Each year the
planning takes longer and the list of 'essential equipment' grows
even to the point where one of the convoy is in a white van -
great unless you are the one leaving their pride and joy at home
to take the wheel of it.
Upon arrival the
'build' takes longer and longer and the space you envisaged you
would be able to commandeer in the campsite is occupied by some
Germans hell bent of a 72 hour techno music festival.
At this point things
start to get a little stressful...
