Le Mans Classic

The Le Mans Classic has grown from its first running in 2002 into one of Europe's most popular Classic motorsport events. Over 400 cars, split into groups according to age, and covering Le Mans racing history from the 1920's to the 1970's entertain the crowds on the full circuit. But the Classic is as much about the 7000 plus cars displayed by car clubs of all marques that have Le Mans racing heritage as it is about the on track action.

The atmosphere of the Classic is totally different to the 24 hour race - gone are the antics of the youthful and expectant crowds replaced by the respectful observations of a knowledgable audience as some of the continents finest classic machinery occupies the public roads.

2010 saw us host our first Private Camping area at the Classic, based in the area known as Bleu Sud, a mere 10 minute walk from the action. Fantastic weather greeted our members who enjoyed the unique 'Speed Chills' atmosphere that complimented the racing perfectly.

We are already making plans for the next running of the event in 2012 and are taking advance reservations for all accommodation including private camping, public camping, hotels and self-catering.
