We have years of experience as a leading Le Mans accommodation provider which means we have a huge variety on our books. So whilst these featured locations are some of our favourites, we often have very desirable options available throughout the season.
We have hand picked the locations featured here to represent honest value and a convenient location.
For those opting for our accommodation at Le Pont Romain, packages come with the use of our exclusive shuttle service to and from the circuit with the optionto add reserved, allocated parking in Parking Blanc, a short walk from the start/finish area of the circuit.
For all other locations, reserved parking in Parking Blanc is included.
NOTE - the Le Pont Romain shuttle runs from Friday-Sunday with a minimum of two trips per day into and out of the circuit at convenient times.
Le Pont Romain
Located a mere 8km East of the circuit. A haven of tranquillity and calm our exclusive 4* self-catering accommodation boasts a selection of mobile homes and chalets. These self-catering units are furnished to a very high standard. Set to the northern perimeter of the 4* camping area these chalets and mobile homes benefit from access to all of the sites facilities. |
Gîtes du Val de Loir
Located 35 minutes south of the circuit, 10km north of Chateau du Loir. This small group of chalets provide basic self-catering accommodation in charming surroundings within a 35 minute drive from the circuit yet a million miles away from its bustling atmosphere. Situated 2km south of the small hamlet of Beaumont Pied-de-Boeuf with its excellent auberge, you can find a complete range of shops and restaurants in nearby Chateau du Loir. Speed Chills love the setting, the easy route into the circuit and the general welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of the area. Very versatile accommodation as you can book the three units individually, or together as a group.
There is no official star rating here, but we would put it at around 2* as the accommodation is basic and decor not to everybody's taste. Given the great location, space to call your own and the self-catering aspect we believe the Gites du Val de Loir complex offers truly excellent value for money. |

2012 Excursions
The following optional excursions are available using Speed Chills dedicated shuttle service.
Drivers Parade
On the Friday evening before the race, the town centre of Le Mans hosts the Drivers Parade. All of the drivers are paraded through the town centre atop classic cars, many pausing to sign autographs and chat to the crowd. Our coaches leave from our Members Club locations at Bleu Sud and Beausejour, drop you into the town centre and then return you to our on-circuit locations.
Price - £25 per person
Arnage/Indianapolis
During the race, a trip to the Arnage/Indianapolis complex of bends at the South end of the circuit is a must. The braking point for Indianapolis is the fastest part of the circuitand from the spectator banking you can hear and then see the cars burst from the forest-lined approach, through Indianapolis and down to Arnage, the slowest corner on the trackand one to catch out even the best drivers. The closure speeds of the LMP cars on the GT class is phenomenal under braking for Arnage.
Running Saturday evening and through to the early hours of Sunday morning, our round-trip shuttle service is the most convenient way to get to these fantastic bits of the circuit. Pick-up is from our Private Camping areas at Beuasejour and Bleu Sud. Drop-off is close to the circuit entrance at Arnage and drop-off at the end of the trip back to our Members Clubs at Beausejour and Bleu Sud.
Price - £20 per person
NOTE - you do not have to be a member of Speed Chills to book these excursions. Pick-up and drop off for non-members is the security post at the entrance to the Speed Chills Private Camping sites at Beausejour or Bleu Sud.
