Speed Chills is as tour operator and hospitality provider for motorsports events. Our speciality is Le Mans with experience dating back four decades and encompassing all events at this most famous of circuits.
Speed Chills meets its regulatory requirements under the Package Travel Regulations via total payment protection (topp); a per passenger insurance policy to protect its customers against the unlikely event of the companies financial failure. A brief history
Incorporated in 2004, Speed Chills is a leader in a new breed of providers focused on providing flexible offerings to the 21st century motorsports fan. From tickets only to full packaged solutions including hospitality, Speed Chills is your perfect partner.
From its early years providing a ‘Private Members Club’ offering to people in the Automobile Club De L’Ouest’s (ACO’s) Beausejour campsite, Speed Chills has added tickets, self-drive packages and private camping to its range of offerings for the Le Mans 24 hours as well as adding additional events such as the MotoGP and Le Mans Series.
By working closely with clubs such as the Lotus Seven Club as well as legions of informal groups, Speed Chills has undergone rapid and on-going growth with high levels of repeat bookings and referrals fuelling further growth.
By 2009, Speed Chills had become the largest UK based supplier of ACO sanctioned private camping facilities at the 24 hours of Le Mans.
Late in 2009, in recognition of the high level of service Speed Chills offers its customers and the professional manner in which it conducts its affairs, the ACO appointed Speed Chills an official agency. Neil Matthews, co-founder, stated “To be recognised by the organisers of the world’s greatest motorsport event in this way is testament to the hard work put in by the Speed Chills team over the years and the enthusiasm for all things Le Mans shown by our loyal and growing customer base”.
2010 saw the Private Camping formula successfully applied to the Le Mans Classic with the event sold out by February and the size of the site extended to meet demand. Support for the Le Mans Series (LMS) and Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) demonstrated that sportscar racing is reaching new levels of interest from the viewing public.
